For the second straight season, a Pirates player was selected to the Major League Rookie All-Star team. This year, the honoree is Neil Walker, who was named the second baseman for 2010.

Pirates re-sign Ledezma on busy day

Left-hander Wil Ledezma will return to the club in 2011 after agreeing to a one-year contract with the Pirates on Wednesday. Ledezma's signing was one of many roster moves announced by Pittsburgh on the second official day of baseball's offseason.

Pirates blank Braves, who fall out of division lead

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) – Delwyn Young capped a five-run seventh with a two-run homer and James McDonald tossed seven scoreless innings, as the Pittsburgh Pirates shut down the Atlanta Braves, 5-0, in the second test of a three-game series at PNC Park.
