In a text message Sunday night, Clint Hurdle confirmed that he’ll be named the Pittsburgh Pirates’ manager today.

Uggla helps Marlins beat Pirates 5-2

Dan Uggla homered and drove in three runs Sunday, sending the Pittsburgh Pirates to their 105th and final defeat when they lost to the Florida Marlins 5-2.
