PITTSBURGH – Pirates rookie pitcher Brad Lincoln overcame a 32-pitch first inning to keep his team in the chase for six innings. Rookie outfielder Jose Tabata beat out an infield hit, hot-footed to second base on a hurried throw and scored in the first inning.
