The Pittsburgh Pirates have activated catcher Ryan Doumit from the disabled list and sent catcher Erik Kratz to Triple-A Indianapolis. Doumit sustained a concussion last month and was placed on the DL on July 22. He lost his starting job when the Pirates traded for Chris Snyder last Saturday.
